Convenient Thief Tools

Quickly equip and cycle through thief tools (lockpicks/probes) with configurable hotkeys. Tools can also be automatically equipped when the player activates a locked/trapped object.

Installation

This mod requires OpenMW 0.49 or higher!

1. Download the mod from this URL

2. Extract the zip to a location of your choosing, examples below:

    # Windows
    C:\games\OpenMWMods\convenient-thief-tools
   
    # Linux
    /home/username/games/OpenMWMods/convenient-thief-tools
   
    # macOS
    /Users/username/games/OpenMWMods/convenient-thief-tools
   

3. Add the appropriate data path to your opemw.cfg file (e.g. data="C:\games\OpenMWMods\convenient-thief-tools")

4. Add content=convenient-thief-tools.omwscripts to your load order in openmw.cfg or enable them via OpenMW-Launcher
