Pharis’ Magicka Regeneration

Magicka regeneration Lua mod for all actors based on Willpower, current Fatigue ratio, and optionally current Magicka ratio.

Description

Lua magicka regeneration for all actors based on Willpower, current fatigue ratio, and optionally current magicka ratio. I intentionally omitted using intelligence in the calculations because I wanted to keep max magicka separate from regeneration unlike in Oblivion and Skyrim. The included plugin simply sets the fRestMagickaMult GMST to zero to prevent stacking of vanilla regeneration with the mod.

As of version 1.1.0 stunted magicka is properly accounted for and will prevent regeneration.

Installation

1. Download the mod from this URL

2. Extract the zip to a location of your choosing, examples below:

    # Windows
    C:\games\OpenMWMods\pharis-magicka-regeneration
   
    # Linux
    /home/username/games/OpenMWMods/pharis-magicka-regeneration
   
    # macOS
    /Users/username/games/OpenMWMods/pharis-magicka-regeneration
   

3. Add the appropriate data path to your opemw.cfg file:

• If you’re using OpenMW 0.49+: data="C:\games\OpenMWMods\pharis-magicka-regeneration"
• If you’re using OpenMW 0.48: data="C:\games\OpenMWMods\pharis-magicka-regeneration\legacy"

4. Add content=pharis-magicka-regeneration.omwaddon and content=pharis-magicka-regeneration.omwscripts to your load order in openmw.cfg or enable them via OpenMW-Launcher
